The Tosa Community Food Pantry has been open since 1983, collecting and distributing food to low-income individuals and families in the Wauwatosa area on an emergency need basis. We do not discriminate as to income, sex, race or ethnic origin, and strive to provide our clients with healthy food choices throughout the year, including fresh produce during the growing season.
We are very grateful that Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church (WAUMC) has welcomed us into its facility, enabling us to continue our mission of feeding those in need in the Wauwatosa area. Tosa Community Food Pantry thanks Saint Bernard Congregation for their unwavering support over 40+ years of operation. Without the unstinting donation of facilities and resources by these generous congregations, we would not be able to fulfill our mission of feeding those in need in the Wauwatosa area. In addition to WAUMC and Saint Bernard, the Tosa Community Food Pantry thanks other local organizations which support our operations with donations of food and/or funding. These organizations include St. Jude the Apostle Parish, Christ King Parish, First Congregational Church, Trinity Episcopal Church, Bethany-Calvary United Methodist Church, the Medical College of Wisconsin, St. Pius X Parish, Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church, Wauwatosa Rotary, and the West Suburban YMCA. Thank you to all of our supporters!
Tosa Community Food Pantry would also like to thank Hunger Task Force. Through our official affiliation, Hunger Task Force provides not only a majority of the food resources we distribute to those in need, but also countless other resources for pantry operations for the food insecure in our community. Thank you, Hunger Task Force!
